The Mini Medics courses are designed to teach the very basics of First Aid in a fun and interactive way whilst inspiring the new generation of young First Aiders. They are most commonly designed for Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
This is a very basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 11, but it can suit children of any age. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies. The course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical, and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.
Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
Provide first aid to a casualty who is unconscious
Provide CPR cardiopulmonary resuscitation With AED
Provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
Provide first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding
Provide first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries (including small cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds)
Provide first aid to a casualty suffering from an asthma attack.
This course is non regulated however a certificate of attendance is provided with a free gift to each participant.
Groups are a maximum of 16 participants.

*additional Groups of upto16 participants can be added at a discounted rate of £100 per group. Therefore 1 school class of 30 children would require 2 sessions of 2 hours. This would be charged at £350 only.
